Yes. The Total Maintenance Package includes weekly mowing, and the Garden Care Package covers bed care and pre-emergent for properties that don’t need mowing. Turf fertilization, aeration, leaf removal, and pruning are available as add-ons. Our pricing page lists everything in both packages.
The Total Maintenance Package starts at $300 a month and averages about $525. The Garden Care Package starts at $130 a month and averages about $250. Your price depends on turf area, bed square footage, plant material, and tree cover. A small in-town lot in the Fan or Church Hill costs less to maintain than a half-acre in Midlothian or Glen Allen with a lot of beds. Yes. Maintenance agreements cover 12 months and renew automatically, so your property stays on schedule from one season to the next. Services written into the contract cost less than the same work added later.
Every property we maintain has to be on a turf fertilization program, but that program can come from us or from another company. If you use someone else, we coordinate with them so their treatments and our visits don’t conflict.
For the tall fescue on most Richmond and Henrico yards, yes. Piedmont clay compacts over a season of foot traffic and mowing, and fall core aeration loosens it so water, air, and new seed can reach the roots. September and October are the window for it in Central Virginia, so aeration and overseeding are on our fall calendar.
You tell us. Meet with your point of contact so they can write down what matters most to you, or email maintenance@gsulandscaping.com. Those notes go into our job management system, which reminds the crew each time they visit your property.
We service most commercial clients early in the week and residential clients closer to the weekend. We also group nearby jobs to save fuel and time, so some residential lawns get serviced earlier in the week. We keep the same crew on your property whenever we can. Most crews are two people, including a team leader, and we add people during leaf season.
In most cases, service starts within five business days. It depends on the season, the weather, and which services are underway when you sign up. Your point of contact can give you an exact start date.
