These prices cover everything it takes to keep your Richmond, VA or Williamsburg, VA landscape in pristine shape throughout the year. The major drivers of changing prices are the square footage of turf area and mulch beds as well as the amount of plant material or tree coverage. Many of these services are completed within a single visit when desired. Our customers choose the services they need for custom landscaping plans designed to fit their property and lifestyle.
*Required Services: All services in the required sections are part of our baseline packages that GSU Landscaping offers. We do not offer maintenance agreements that do not have the required services, period.
**Optional Services: These services can be added to any maintenance agreement but are not required. Please note that it is ALWAYS cheaper to include services in the contract versus adding services outside of the contract in the future.
***We only maintain properties that are on a turf fertilization program. This program does not need to be provided in our contract but must be with a turf fertilization vendor.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, we offer a full property maintenance package as well as a no-mow maintenance package. A full breakdown is available on our pricing page.
Here is a general timeline of how we provide services:
January: Final round of leaf cleanups for the season and start of winter pruning
February: Continue winter pruning and start mulching properties.
March-May: Mulching/Pre-emergent of residential properties
End of March: Start of the mowing season(Temperature dependent)
Mid-April-June: Spring pruning season
July-August: Summer Pruning
End of August: Second application of pre-emergent on landscape beds.
September-October: Aeration & Overseeding, Fall Pruning
Start of November: End of the mowing season(Temperature dependent), Start of leaf cleanup
December: Leaf clean up
Great communication! Only you know the specific details of how you want your property maintained. It’s important that you let us know what matters most when it comes to your property. We encourage you to meet with your point of contact so they can record your preferences. You can also write us an email at maintenance@gsulandscaping.com. These notes will be added to our advanced job management system that reminds the crew each time they visit your property.
Generally, we try to service as many of our commercial clients in the first part of the week as possible and have our residential clients closer to the weekend. However, we work to be good stewards of the environment and your pocketbook by performing jobs near one another, which means we service some residential lawns earlier in the week.
We work hard to keep the same crew on your property as much as possible. Typically, we run 2-man crews, including one team leader. However, during leaf season we temporarily increase the size of the crews to complete the work.
In most cases, we will get your maintenance services up and running within 5 business days. This mostly depends on the season at which you sign up, the weather and what services are being performed at that time. The best way to know if you have any questions would be to reach out to your point of contact as they would have detailed insight on your upcoming scheduled work.
