Preston Gravatt

Past Experience: Besides working alongside her parents in their personal gardens, Preston’s experience in the green industry has given her useful experience and necessary knowledge for most landscapes. Preston is a VCU alumnus with a degree in Political Science and Environmental Studies. She spent most of her time studying environmental degradation and its impacts on social structures. For more than a decade, she has worked in customer service, six of those years being spent doing fieldwork at plant nurseries and horticultural studies.

She has gotten her hands dirty in multiple landscaping projects for parks in both the Ashland and Hanover areas, enjoys attending CVNLA meetings to stay brushed up on hot plant topics in Virginia, and takes every opportunity to learn something new in this ever-changing industry.
