About Bill
Bill Gallagher came to Green Side Up Landscaping after years supervising golf course grounds, where he managed both the turf and the crews that kept it healthy. He joined Craig Attkisson as a partner during the company’s early growth, bringing a Turfgrass Management degree and a background in leading people. His golf course years gave him a close read on what healthy turf takes and how to run a team that delivers it day after day.
That combination shaped his role. As an owner and the company’s Richmond sales lead, Bill sits across from homeowners during the first conversation and turns what someone wants for their property into a plan the crews can carry out. His management experience shows up in how Green Side Up keeps its word, since he has spent his career making sure work gets scheduled, staffed, and finished the way it was described.
What Bill Focuses On
Bill leads sales for the Richmond market, meeting with homeowners to scope maintenance programs and design projects and matching each property to the right services. His turfgrass training means those conversations start from the health of the lawn and landscape, not just the look. He also draws on his people-management experience to keep production organized once a project is sold.
