Short Pump Front Yard Renewal

The previous owners had let the landscaping run wild. Nandina had spread across the front beds and taken over. One old stump stood three to four feet high with fresh growth coming off it, and a second tree had come up from a sapling that nobody ever pulled. Jeremy had already taken out a few holly bushes himself, but the property needed more than a weekend could handle.

Green Side Up cleared the front of the house back to a clean slate. The crew ground out the stumps, pulled the overgrowth and the volunteer tree, set new plantings, and laid fresh sod across the yard. The change was immediate. A neglected entrance turned into a finished landscape Jeremy and Alicia were proud to come home to.

Before any grinding started, Green Side Up followed the process. The crew called in the utility locate service and got confirmation that the area was marked and cleared to dig. The water meter, though, had never been marked by the locator. During grinding, the crew caught the water meter cover.

The city came out to replace it. When they did, they dug through the brand-new sod, dropped in the replacement cover, and left loose dirt piled around it. The finished yard they had just paid for was torn up again, and none of it traced back to Green Side Up.

Jeremy sent over a message with photos. The crew was back on the property the next day. They repaired the sod, cleared out the mess the city had left, and brought the yard back to the way it looked at handoff. There was no additional charge for the return trip.
